A boa constrictor once helped me out. I had been to a friend's party on the east side of Manhattan and my car was parked on the west side. When it was time to go I had a pleasant stroll through Central Park. It was a beautiful spring day in May. I passed the John Lennon memorial 'Strawberry Fields' and walked the width of the park. When I got through the park there was a parade on 5th Avenue, and I could not get near enough to cross the street. A man with a huge boa constrictor wrapped around his neck and shoulders passed by and where they went the crowd melted away. I followed close behind, and was able to pass through the crowds. Eventually coming to a crossing t light where I was able to make my way to the car.
